Trowulan , supposed site of old Majapahit
capital
are 40 enterprises making cast items,
mainly of brass, not bronze; reproductions
of Majapahit statues of dewas & also
some other items such as copies of
tribal figurines, Buddhist heads, etc.
using various kinds of scrap brass,
lilin (paraffin) from Pertamina (not beeswax),
molds from clay & sand
never use beeswax, tho to make 
matters confusing they call parafin
'malam'
first entrepreneur Pak Sabar, but we
didn't visit this trip
