p1 in tambak areas between the villages are small groups of fishermen who either work as laborers for tambak owners or go out each night and walk their nets (subuh) for prawns-
very poor being dependant on weather conditions for income
p2 2 musims:
1 musim ikan when fish are running & catch is good (Nov -Mar in 82)
2 musim Paceklik when catch low (April-Oct)
when musim paceklik many families must live on loans
boats cannot go out unless owners can make enough money to cover cost of supplies
money borrowed either from bakul or juragan
