I am trying to get rid go my squashes I cut one this week and we have squash pie for dinner supper and breakfast to get rid of it before the stuff spoils. How I wish you could help. Never again will I be so foolish as to get big squashes by they had sold all their small ones and twas those or nothing. I have not seen Mrs. Dykeman this week. the going has been so bad I presume. Grace is there over the weekend. My plants are doing well. I have a very dark almost black fluted edge petunia, all in bloom. I got the slip of mort lamb, he was bearing it out to freeze and gave me a slip in fall. I had good luck and rooted it and I am trying to root another slip. My plants are company for me this winter. I can't go out much.
