I could but notice, at Harolds [[Harold's]] funeral, what a difference it made having Horace Low gone. he was just the one, but now there is no one to take the place & it was so noticeable, Millard cant [[can't]] talk & the other one is diffident & not used to it. Powers they say is good, but he tends to the Paddies wholly. Gerard is living in great style down to the Talbot house, it has been all thouroughly [[thoroughly]] renovated, with new electric light fixtures. & new furniture & he is keeping old bachelors hall in style. Lillie Drake goes there to do the cleaning. & she reports. I dont [[don't]] think he has any of the upstairs at all though. Well this is a pretty poor letter Ma
