Doris

The sun has been out some of the day but now around 4 it has shut in and looks more like rain the week has been as usual rather quiet on the whole but Friday Evening we had a call for the Fire Dept. up this way the house of Edgar Marden got a bad burning the fire started from the Furnac [[furnace]] and got in the partners and had to be cut up a good deal every thing was well wet down There was no one at home at the time so it got considable [[considerable]] start, we have got some 280. Autos Billed out of over 800 so this work will be busy to finish them for Fred Vanston the [[g--ird?]] back of house is full of water on Top as the Front is holding it there I tried to find if I could a place and got about 2 ft square [[?]] to the Peach tree. So perhaps I may by another week find a fence for the Bulb or a few of the best over I see one small Snow Drop under the front window has just opened to day
