Stoughton Feb 15th 1931 Dear Doris_ I have found the front room here in the sun is warm so will begin my Sunday letter. It was rainy yesterday with no sun, then topped of with a light snow flurry & the wind change in the middle of the day into the NW and grew cold, so this morning we got back our old zero weather [[strikethrough]] this morning [[/strikethrough]] again but its moderating Pa says & the morning papers says tomorrow warmer. the sun is good & warm so we can stand it I think. I was glad to hear the baby was improving, sorry you were down with it but you will get rested up by your staying at home & abed. hope now you will have no more worry to contend with. Mrs Dykeman is very bad, her strength is nearly exhausted. I would not be surprised to hear any time she were gone, too bad the sons wives take care of her nights by turnes, & some one of them are there doing for her day times also. so she has good care, they seem to think a great deal of her. she says she would rather see me than
