for fear you were sick as you spoke of a cold in the last letter but thought you might have got the best of it but am afraid you did not. I am going down after some things to the store this morning. its another warm pleasant day with such balmy weather we can appreachiate it now three days a going. I hope you have the same. I began this letter Tuesday. as there was nothing else to do. I don't see Sues folks this winter, but hear Myrtie is around still & is asking $45. a week for her servises. I guess she will remain idle a while, before she strikes a job at that price in this town, with people out of work. & I guess Percy Wood will get darn sick of her in the long run blarting around & living on him as she does. Irma came up to see us Sunday night we were eating supper in the dining room when she drove up, she liked the babies pictures & thought that she had grown. I showed her our jewelry, our diamond rings & the watches, she was in love with my watch & kept fondeling it in her hands as if she could hardly give it up. she is a queer little specimin. but bright as a dollar & good where she takes. If this warm spell lasts I may be able to scoop up dirt so to plant my tomatoes later on. I usually start them by March. the green fly got on them last year & spoilt their growth. what do they put on to get the better of that pest. Tina had them on hers also but they transplanted theirs there is something for everything nowadays I never had them before well I must close now if I am going downtown Ma.
