I hope some business starts in soon. Omerys store has also changed hands. I go there after my yeast cakes. as I have been making my bread all winter. I was sorry to hear Mrs C was having pain from her leg she will have to go slow I am afraid. We like those pictures & its hard to choose which would be the best. the little rinkled up nose is cute as can be & Ralph says an awful good picture of Doris, about the two Pa took down to show to Talbot & also to Ralph. Talbot said Mrs C's picture is all right, a good woman to get along with. I hope its as pleasant down there is it is here every body riding. I taking advantage of this mild weather to dry my sash curtains & blanket we sleep in & my bed spread they are on the line & no danger of thrashing to pieces. During the zero weather we slept in the front chamber but last nigt it was too warm for me Pa thinks it seems good to get into warmer Clothes when he gets up in the morning. well January is more than half gone Murphy is getting in a good ice crop. I met Harolds wife in one of the stores & she seemed encouraged about him & said they had made a new cast for his leg & the bone had begun to knit & she was going in to see him to day. well Pa is eating an orange in the dining room & I must start on vegitables for our dinner Ma
