I have not been down town for a week & Pa lugs home everything, so I must spunk up I guess & so try to get busy. things are very quiet I dont know whether Myrtie is working or hanging on at Pireus Alice said that she reported up home, that she was getting $18. a week taking care of Alice Talbot we thought that $15. was more than she was worth & from what Mary said when they were out there Armistice day that they liked that other nurse much better. she was a regular nurse they said but it would not do to say that Myrtie. I hope we dont have to run up against her any more. its a great pity she is down here looking for jobs why dont she stay up there where she belongs. Elsie is taking care of an old lady up there & she only gets two dollars a week, so you can see they dont pay very much for nursing there. Elsie is kind hearted & would do as well as she knew, she took very good care of her grandmother, but she is'nt well enough to stand much hard work. I hope little baby is well & having good times with her play things I guess she wont get the cold, & the rest of you I hope will escape it. dont get too run down working thats the main cause Ma
