[4 January 1931]

Doris
It has melted all day and this afternoon I walked up to Cemetery Henry Swan asked about his lot when we were at his house and I have made a plan of the 4 lots and show all the stones and names of those buried and the four lots he did not seem to have in mind how it was. This I think will make it plain to him I do not think we will see the frost out all winter for in most places its more than a foot deep now, but will watch out. The Icy streets have been bad. Ralph had easy going but bad coming back. Better this side of Boston than the other The young folk started direct to N Y as he had to go back to Office at once. his folks are to go on to help them in setting up house keeping a very nice crowd. at wedding Ralph Told me last night as I stopped to see him
