& she said "do it again". she reminds them of their little one they lost. there its too bad about the [[Merry?]] little boy hope he will get over it. its a terrible disease to get the best of, I expect, & contagious also. & its no wonder she is scart [[scared]] terrible how this pen is running ink in drops. I am going to have fresh pork for dinner & Irma is to come after Pa any time before twelve, so guess my fresh pork will get done, so we can eat dinner before they go up to the cemetery to carry the wreath between Irma & Ruby. Pa gets carted around a great deal for they are both very good to take him. I think Alice Talbots [[Talbot's]] goods are moved out of the house, for when Pa went past yesterday, there was a moving van backed up there, & a frigidair set out we are going to inquire into it & so find out something about what there affairs are. she probably will never live to come home again, & the unnecessary rent I suppose they would pay, would be saved to throw up the house. I wonder what Gerard would do meanwhile Pa says its just begun to spit snow, the little juncoes have just been picking up crumbs here, they are expecting a storm also. The Drake girls were going or coming to Blys [[Bly's]] funeral & were run into on the sidewalk by an out of town car. where the man was teaching the girl to drive & they. were terribly bruised up & attended by Ewing & Faxon. I hope the baby is happy & is learning to sing her little songs she hears you sing to her. Id [[I'd]] like to hear the tunes she would get to them. she must be a big girl by this time her picture is up on the shelf holding "Goggie" by the head poor little midget
Ma.
