Stoughton Nov. 19th 1930

Dear Doris 
    
We were sorry to hear the baby was upset but hope now she is feeling much better, there is no half way to little ones, they wilt pretty quick if any little thing ails them, so dont get too anxious. they are trouble some comforts at best. how I would like to see her & love her poor baby. I am thankful Mrs Cutting is there to take the care of you so well. We are still having this same gloomy cold, disagreeable, N W storms, going since Friday. Pa did not go yesterday, it was so stormy, but he may come home this forenoon & change his clothes and go with the others to day. that is if they feel like going again. Did you know that Doreen Bradshaw that married a Leavie had bought the Calvin Guildplace & is remodelling it & talks of turning the old barn around & so making a tenement of that they must have money to burn, if they do all we hear they are going to undertake
