Evelyn Giles still lives up to Minnie Hunts, whose sun rises & sets by her so Maude says. funny how people are made in this world. here comes Pa home its nine o clock so he must be going in town I guess. I do wish it would clear up once more & we might see the sun again. I have dried all my clothes so far by my kitchen fire & the house is so cold and damp up stairs. if this weather last much longer we shall start the heater. Ella was up to Pa's store after seeing about her teeth. she told about Amos going down cellar to fix their heater & was gone some little time. so she went to see what kept him & found him haveing one of his spells, suffering agonies with pain. so she told him they must find some one to look after the furnace, she guessed, see he must be failing I should think Poor Amos its too bad, as he is, he does not take much comfort living & is liable to go in any of those spells sudden. hope baby is much better. the sun is out at last Ma
