Dear Doris

This is the second sunny day since the storm, cold & frosty with a cold NW wind.  We started up the old heater Friday & now the house is seasoned yesterday.  I was more than warm with the kitchen fire going.  I was baking beans so I ran my fire all day.  I have just finished the babies two dresses & shall send them right along for I fear she needs them by now.  there is still another dress to make  up, together with the dormet flannel for some more panties, there is enough for another nightie if you need it more.  Pa was over to see Ralph & Maude is making wedding presents she says tell me to come over & see it.  Pa said its something pretty now I can tell you, the wedding comes off this next month the last of the month & they have got to dress up young Henry, for he is to be best man.   Maude says that she dreads going but she must.  He is foolish to marry so soon & he so young, afraid of loosing each other.  "Marry in haste and
