I called on Maude the other day & she gave me the babies picture in a pretty little frame, that she had on the mantletry shelf. it was the one taken when she was holding up Goggie to have his picture taken & after she took it baby says, "do it again". so then she took it where she is looking down. dear little thing how we miss her. I am glad the woman is jolly & plays with her & keeps her happy. is "Taddy" over to the other house? you have not said anything about him lately. Our crysanthemums out back got terribly whipped in the gale for all Pa took great pains in tying them to stakes & one of them got broken off I got it this morning & put in water perhaps I may root it, a yellow one & very thrifty, as they all are. I hope they dont get winter killed. they all blossomed out so we found what they were. but three nights of such a severe frost spoilt them.
