Dear

The 2 letters & check arrived. I called up the Bruces some time ago, but they have not paid us the rent. The girl graduated, this month & I suppose he has put in his morney into fire works any how Pa says after the 4th he thinks he will come forth with the money. the bill is made out & will be presented the first of July. I mean to ask him every month to pay here after. for certainly its not much & we need it oftener. Lena is going to Stoneham or talking of going. Pa says he is keeping quiet & waiting for you to come home, to settle up things down to the store, for they bother him. George Ring came over to see Pa yesterday he is looking fine & his side is pretty well healed & he has grown fat
