Pa & I have just been watering our garden lettuce & thinks & following the Thrasher to see him feed the young ones, the little cat birds have got tails an inch & a half long. they are chubby little creatures & stay hid up in the shrubery. I have never since I lived here seen so many different kinds of birds as we have this summer. Doris feeds them (Georges wife) & has all winter & so have I the water dish stands full under the cordilia tree & I guess they are thankful for that all together the trees & all makes a good nesting place for the little feathered creatures. I am only glad to have them to watch & care for. Ma
