Stoughton June 4 1930

I have just returned from down town where I have been for the groceries before it gets too hot, as yesterday, it was pretty warm in the sun. but I kept the house shut up, & in that way, I managed to keep pretty comfortable. Pa was down to North Stoughton working all day: they got up as far as Lincoln Street at night, & no knowing where they will be today.
