[[margin]] PS Bettys two night dresses. for summer are waiting here for her. I hope you have not forgotten them. [[/margin]]

Stoughton May 28th 1930

Dear Doris

Your letter came yesterday in time to cheer me up, such cold cloudy days are enough to give one the blues. to day the sun has come out bright & I think we are through with such weather.

Lena went back Monday, she is in good spirits, but not very well. she is talking of buying a house up to [[?]] & moving her duds into it, she has got the blueberrying bug in her head & seems to think it wont cost her but little to live up there, & she can sell to transients. I wish she would let Mrs Andrews do more for her, but she is so independent that she wants to go it alone. I am in hopes she goes up to Bernices camp this summer she is so fond of the children.
