Stoughton April 2nd 1930

Dear Doris.

Well Pa has come home all of a flurry. He had lost his bunch of keys must have lost them yesterday on the road he said. couldnt get into the store & so went over to jims after his key, well he had not been gone more than five minutes before I picked them up out of his chair he sits in at the table. So I called up jim & told him & Ruby drove over here in her car , as she went to drive down to carry her pa to the store. I am good at finding things lost.
It has cleared off colder, after a rainy night. My fire that went out Monday I will have to make up again,
Your packages came Monday I suppose the root was what was left of the poinsetter.
