Dear Doris
A cloudy morning last night. Ralph & Maude came they had been to Broeton & had not been to supper so had to hurry home to get supper. they had some oysters for a stew, no letter from Aunt Molly had been received as yet, but they journey might have been too much for her. I have just started the oil heater to warm up the house. I am going to do some cooking when the oven gets hot enough. Pa is grumbling out in the kitchen he is gloomy all the time. I wrote to Luna yesterday & will mail it
