Dear Doris

It has been cool since the ice storm of Sunday afternoon. so last night I turned on the heat to warm up the rooms. Pa was pretty nervous, but after it was turned off, he got over it some. every little thing effects his nerves & makes him wild he is terrible nervous. scart to death of fire & freezing up. the wind yesterday took the leaves out of the yard & blew them down street. I am in hopes the cold weather stays off so that I can see my crysanthemums blossom I have in bloom one pink, one bronze & one yellow one also a pink with a brown center & two or three of the bronze (large blossoms) there is a cold wind blowing from the North West which will cause a freeze.
