Dear Doris

While Pa is finishing his breakfast I will scribble a few lines. yesterday was warm & summerlike up to four o'clock then a terrible black cloud came up in the west but most of the thunder went around but another followed in its wake & it hailed & poured till I thought the hail stones would break the glass. Pa was terribly frightened he is scart most of the time now & says "whats going to happen"? The fire alarm rang in Saturday night at midnight & he never slept after it. so
