he is scart of every little thing & obstinate as a mule. I went down town yesterday. Mrs Ballentine hollered after me as I got started & so I got a ride one way with them. Is'nt the moon nice? nature is at its best these days & nights. I got a letter from Alice she has been nursing since she was here, but is now in Everett.
I suppose you are always terribly busy, & feel tired the live long time. Ralph said he was expecting to hear from Mr Legg that night about the house. hope Mrs Cutting has good luck with the cookies. has she made grape jelly  Pa is listening in to news flashes as usual. he dont know what to do next so I try to get him out all I can these nice pleasant weather. he is very irritable
