Stoughton Aug. 4th 1931

Dear Doris
We had showers last night all around us after a very sultry day so that today is much cooler & we are full of pep.

Pa is clearing up the back room the old stuff, we are trying to get rid of. Cline I guess will take the things, we got rid of lots of things up stairs, by sending it to the Morgan memorial, but Pa got so excited over it coming on so sudden, that we did not send only some of the principle things upstairs it will seem good to have the old things out of the way.

Stanley Loring came here yesterday afternoon he looked the radio over but did not do anything to the [[strikethrough]] radio [[/strikethrough]] it, but
