Dear Doris

Yesterday was a warm day although A good breeze was blowing which made the day more bearable otherwise we would have suffered for it was a terrible hot sun Ralph & Maude came up at night. they are having hard wood floors layed in their rooms. their sitting room carpet was pretty well worn. he seems to have plenty of money to have new things, so I guess he does not have to scrimp very much yet. they brought over some pictures they took of us but are not very good. Lena took some also but hers havnot been printed yet. she bought a
