Dear Doris

It is muggy still. I got up this morning & while Pa was making his fire & getting on the coffee to boil. I found out the sink was plugged & so went about getting that unstopped which I finally did after a struggle & without stirring him up too much. then after breakfast we have been hunting up trying to find an old book of Uncle Alberts with his old accounts there in but as yet we have not been able to find. I am going to look under the window couch & that is the last resort. we are haveing lots of rainy weather, so that I do not have to lug water for my garden, but the lawn grass grows furiously. Pa has just sat down with a cookie to eat & is wondering where the dam thing is. My stomac is nocked out & the weather I guess is the cause so I am not hungry these days. but feel faint from the emptiness.
