Dear Doris.
It has been a pouring rain since yesterday noon. Lena went away yesterday noon for good. Pa has been fit to tie ever since nothing suites & no one does any thing right. he says he is not going to live to see [[strikethrough]] to [[/strikethrough]] anything done & there is no one to do anything for him & that we dont realize his condition & I am the one who is cross & he has got to clear out in the building by himself & keep still. he thinks it will drive him crazy. so you see how he feels most of the time. is it not pleasant? if there is such a place as hell its here now.
