Stoughton July 3rd 1931

Dear Doris
Its cool but cloudy, I hope it will pour. we were up at a little before six this morning. yesterday afternoon we went up to Athestons pasture, but found no berries there. plenty of high bush green, but too early for ripe ones. there are no black huckleberries this year, as the bushes are not bearing. I get all I want to use over in the pasture Lena & I went to Maudes last night & carried her over some berries. they are going to their cottage to day to put in a gas range. We were brought home in the new car. a very easy
