watching the bird, he is getting the use of his legs & is hopping around in great shape. I will be glad when he is strong enough to fly up into the bush. Ralph came over yesterday morning & brought us some clams. he was down to the cottage Sunday & let it for six weeks, as he was lucky enough to meet the one he let it to last year. Pa says his head is bad, I think his walk yesterday tired him & the fire alarm spoilt his nap, & the excitement over the robins, & all was too much, so we are going to try & keep him quiet as possible to day. it looks like rain & the radio says showers to night & Southerly winds. We are going to make clam chowder for dinner I must do my cooking now Lena has got through her breakfast
