Dear Doris

We have had two exceedingly hot days but today the wind got into the North West and is much cooler. Lena came yesterday forenoon. she is up stairs taking her bath now after transplanting some lettuce for us. I have just put liquid manure on my tomatoes they have started to grow since they were set out. I suppose Ralph has written since I sent my other letter about Kinsley Southworths shock too bad it took place as it did to spoil Myras trip abroad. I should judge that
