Stoughton June 20th 1931

Dear Doris,
A hot day yesterday another has started in to day the paper says cooler. I have washed out a line full of clothes. & Pa now wants me to go down after a few things for tomorrow. We waited up last night for Maude to show up, but they didn't come, so will send along those pictures in the letter today. they marked the ones they wanted. they feel that little Betty is one of their family & are very fond of her. Maude says "you just wait 'till she comes up & I'll take some pictures of her." Jennie Macnamara rode by last night she saw us sitting out last night so when she came back stopped & talked with Pa a long time & told him about things
