Dear Doris

The day has been warm but sunless. Now the sun shines out & apparently it has cleared off Jack & Irma have just driven out of the yard in a new Buick they have been trying out, they ask $1700 for it, but nothing doing as far as they are consernd [[concerned]]. the seat is too low, the engine to high & theres lots of things about this new make, thats not as good as the old one. Mrs Elmes has traded off her old car for this new model. its nice looking & a longer car & lower. well Lena got away at last. but if she had been going across the ocean it would needed no more preperation I got terribly nervous before
