Dear Doris

This is our fist pleasant morning we have had for most a week it began to clear yesterday afternoon Ralph & Maude came last night, she looks pale & has grown thin. she brought me a bouquet of flowers. I gave her some poppies. Pa dug up some French Flander poppies that were all budded, they were taken up with a lot of soil, so they will never show that they have been moved. she was pleased I gave her a Jerusalem cherry tree & a bouquet of roses. she is trying to work off her troubles by being out amongst her flower beds & I think it is a good thing Lena also gave her some poppie seeds & we thought Ralph was anxious to know when Sidney was
