Monday morning.

We have had a nice rain during the night it came gentle & continuous the ground looks as though it kept up most all night now when it clears I shall set out my tomatoes. they are the last things to be transplanted. Petes dog is such a thrasher I have put hen wire around where they are going. I never saw such an animal, he is crazy when they let him loose.

[[cutoff]] electricity so we have had to turn off our radio it spurted out so it scart [[scared]] us several times.
