he has a lot of that kind of work to do & gets up at three o'clock in the morning. the town hires him through the day on the sewerage. yesterday was the kind of day that Lena likes "soft" I took off our flannel sheets & put on cotton ones & my flannels some of them. but it is different air today. The walk down town Pa stood pretty well. he is out in the garden puttering around now between the showers. Conlan came home from Worcester last night his wifes mother is coming later with the children, to run the house & take care of the little ones. the baby is a healthy child and will probably live. I hope Mrs Douglas will soon get over her sick stomac & have better luck. My yesterdays letter went this morning Pa forgot to give it to the mailman. so this will go tomorrow. I hope they forward them better now.
