Dear Doris
Pleasant yesterday but continued cold and stormy today. I suppose the May storm will end sometime & then mosquitos will come to torment us. Pa remains about the same eating hastily & worrying about things continually. he got Lena's goat & she finds it impossible to suit him however heard she tries. I wish the old store was sunk. its a constant source of trouble to us all. yesterday I told him about the Masonic letter & he knows now he is not to get anything he was pretty mad & said they could stick it up their a__ but he got over it right off then. Lena is in bed yet it is after eight. I have set out some plants in the tubs & there are more to set out. later. Pa & I have just been out to the museum to clean out a few of his cultch before
