is something to do. Lindbergh has spent over a hundred thousand dollars in the hunt for his son. the radio says that Curtis has confessed to his untruthfullness before witnesses, not one of his statements have had a bit of truth as regards to the things he has told about the child he has made up out of his own head, for the sake of a good story for people to read. I guess he has been well paid for it also. he ought to be put in jail with all the rest of the scamps. its hard to know who to trust these days, people will commit murder for fifty cents.

I have made plans to have the lawn mowed Saturday every two weeks he came last year & I don't feel that's very expensive there is considerable lawn to mow & a hard one too. I suppose Pa will raise cain when he does come & make life weary.

Mrs. Gilzer came over she saw me out in the yard, she is a nice sensible person & I like her. then she wanted me to come up there so I went accross to tell her about some of her flowers. she does not know much about flowers, but she loves them. then when I came into my own yard, Mrs Ballentine spoke & told me about her day being broken into when she was hard at it. her brother is still on the anxious seats, they took him to ride, this afternoon. he has a bad heart. I guess he will retire now & live easy. he has been Clerk of Court on a big salary. they must have some money on hand probably. Ma.
