Dear Doris

Very cool but no rain sunny. I have been out digging dandelions. big whopping ones they are plenty. but worst of it is Pa won't eat them, any thing thats [[that's]] good for him he refuses to eat. he has had a good movement + now he is worried over that, he dont [[don't]] know whats [[what's]] going to become of it.

I have just given an order to the Brockton Pub Market + they will deliver it today. I expect he will raise Cain as usual when they come. but I cant [[can't]] help it if he does. I wont [[won't]] tug it up the hill any more.

The after noon is windy & it may blow up rain for Friday.(tomorrow.) its [[it's]] getting dry & a little rain would be good. the season is coming along fast now this last week. I got a pail of the barn cellar water, but had hard work to bail it out. theres [[there's]] not much there. Louie Dykeman said the strength was all in it still, but some one has been there before me I should guess since we saw it. I am afraid Louie is cheating himself on painting the old house, but what can you do he said it was Leed who asked Percy. I will see Ralph & kinder feel around in a blind
