PS Pa has begun to say no more oil is going to be put into the tank for we can't afford it he began at four o'clock to rave & kept it up the rest of the morning but we have the May storm to get the oil yet.

Dear Doris. 

This has been a fine sunny day & it was a great change to what we have been having lately lately. 


I went down early to get Lena's check off early to suit Pa as it came last week & he was wowed over it so to keep peace I trotted down.

I stopped to see Alice & Myrtie on my way down & they met me with open arms. So I stopped quite a while talking over the funeral & when I got home it was time to start my dinner. 

Yesterday I tried to get Pa to change his clothes but he declared he would not as the day was so cold. I did not urge him much so I managed to get him to change them before I went downtown & give him a bath then I washed them out & started
