I think you were pretty lucky to get so good an expression on the babies face in the picture, how did it happen.

I have go both pictures here in the sitting room where I can look at them. her last picture I put over yours that hung in the front room beside the radiator. your picture was sort of fading out. the frame was good & just right for that sized picture, which I put over yours.

I think this picture looks like a young lady a good deal older than she is. its an exceedingly pretty picture. & makes that other profile look three or more years younger. that was a good one of her at the time it was taken. but there is more than a years difference in their looks.

Pa has been to supper & has gone up stairs after reading his paper.

I was glad to know that you both had got rested up since your return, it seemed to [[too]] hard a trip & you should save your selves now when it is coming on warmer weather.

Both Anna & Mort have been very sick Anna's was her heart & they thought she was dangerously sick she looked pale to me & he said she had looked so all winter his was anxiety over her, as much as anything I presume. hope they pick up.
