cloth for dress goods I have got my closet full. if you send any cloth have it unbleached wide enough for pillow cases. the last ones I made up, its a job to get my pillows into. I guess it must have been one yard width. but you need not bother any way.

I hate to have you working so hard & worried over your work & shall be glad when things settle down to normal if they ever do. life nowadays seems such a struggle to what it was.
 
The world seems full of trouble & crime is the chief business of life, we never know when its safe. I have just written to Lena she writes once a week regular. The rain makes the grass look green. & swells the buds my lilac seems slow in coming forward. 

I will have to begin to spade up the ground for my tomatoes if it clears. it has been too cold to stay out in the wind long enough lately.

This has been as cold a storm as it was a year ago next month when Sidney came up to little Ralph's funeral just such a cold storm. I will go to the corner & post this letter now
