ARTHUR L. HOLMES 290 WALNUT STREET STOUGHTON, MASS april 5th 1932 Dear Doris Your letter arrived today I was glad the weather was such that you could enjoy your trip. we are having the cold wind, but this afternoon it seems much improved on yesterday Talbot came + also Jim. they are both here now, so. I will improve the time to write the letter. Jim is losing some flesh + does not look very well, he does sleep well nights. Talbot had his hair and whiskers cut + he and Pa are comparing notes they + are much improved in looks by so doing. over cold spell is over its quite nice out I hare been seratching around my bulbs this afternoon in the back yard they all seem to be coming
