clothes are silk mostly & they would think mine were old fashioned I presume. I think the new family just moved in accrossed the way, next to the standpipe, are one of Murphy's coal drivers. the truck comes up there ever day I see. I dont think theres any children.

Just as soon as the sun goes down the temperature changes greatly. today has not been as windy as usual.

The magazine came today, so it gave me something to read. I like the continued stories that are going in it & read them all. its good reading too.

Pa has just come down to get his paper. it does not take him long to read it though.  its a good paper but not of much interest to me. where I dont know who the people are.

I think the Stoughton paper is a mighty poor paper. it dont seem to ammount to much now a days. I would be ashamed to be the Editor of such trash.

Well Pa has just gone up to roost & its most time for the news & Amos & Andy to appear & then to bed I go also.
