Stoughton March 10th 1982

Dear Doris
The wind has stopped blowing but the cold wind + wather is still here. tomorrow the weatherman says cloudy, we feel that winter is still with us. but March may go out like a lamb yet.
Pa was wakeful last night again but we both had a good nap after dinner. My Oil came this morning so I dont have to worry as I am a fixture right here at home, untill the cold spell lets up.
I feel the need of a little exercise before long. Pa is exceedingly quiet this week. he seems more natural. and dont dwell so much on his crazy talk. he is seeing to everything, about water, in the expantion + over heating the radiators. but thats him his care will last as long as his senses do thats natural.
The sun is pretty red its just setting, the days are flying by, it is now going on most the middle Hazels birthday the 27th this is the worst month in the year for old people to survive, great many of the old folks go this month. Mrs Dykeman died in April. her
