so I guess he feels cold. but there is a good fire in the kitchen stove. he dont want me to turn on the heat, he was so [[seart?]] this morning when I was heating up the house he turned it off before it got above the temperature of the room + I only set it at 60°. he would rather the cold tham have the radiator so hot. I can stand it if he can. these sunless days we need it at night a little. he worries over fire same as his mother always did. they are a terrible nervous race + take comfort when they are stirring up people. I am wondering of there will be any trouble over the settling of the Robbins property. since old man Charles Bobbins died. he own the house + they probably will expect it for taking care of him. he died soon after his wife. it does not seem more than three years, but time flies + it may be longer.
     It has just begun to sleet, where the grassis it shows white. I dont want another snow, we are enjoying the bare ground + not icey sidewalks. hope it turns into rain. I guess Ralph + Maude wont come around tonight. We have just been to supper. I was lucky to get my clothes dry to day + my nightie is over the stove ready to wear tonight, dry + warm. Pa changed his clothed this morning without much fuss, I am going to change mine after a bath tonight. I suppose you folks are off riding somewhere to day hope its pleasant + not stormy there so you can I am sending a picture of a boy full of the old nick so the baby can see how she looks.
