has enough of her by this time. wonders will never cease.
Pa has been very quiet for him to night + also all through the days. he started upstairs as soon as Myrtie came + stayed there all the time + then came down to supper + seemed content.
I am writing the letter the night before as then he is so afraid, he remains as quiet as possible. and I can think what to write better. otherwise it gets on my nerves + I am thinking of his wanting me to stop writing + tell him what I am writing about. now I have to read your letter aloud to him, as soon as it comes. he begins to say more trouble. thats what he is looking for all the time. its never out of his mind a minute.
Pa is wearing that shirt you sent, I think he seemed pleased with it, after I got it mended, he has got all the shirts he will ever wear out, one or two he has never had on. but I have to let him pick out the one he wants to put on, every time, I suggested this one of yours + he did not object, so he is wearing it this week + it looks good. its a clean looking shirt too. Ma.

PS This morning the thu is 30° + the sun is brightly shining, though a cold wind it bids fair for a pleasant day ahead,
Pa can hardly waite for the rooms to get warm. before he wants me to shut off the heat + its only on the 60° at that. but soon we wont need it. my last Oil will have lasted twos Friday thats not bad Ma considering the cold weather of last week.
