Dear Doris
Terrible cold day, zero this morning now at 1/2 past 10'clock only 10 above. Put Sharie been packing up the box but don't think of sending it right now, too cold to go down with it. there is no hurry perhaps Monday will be reasonable + then it wont remain over Sunday on the way.
I got some chocolate drop for Pa yesterday while I was down town which he was glad to see. he is fond of them I don't suppose they are very good to give him but he seems to crave sweets. they wont last long only fire unto worth.
I got Luna a dress. it looked dainty in the store + I got a pretty box to put it in + will send it along. now I am through my Xmax shopping. I am not going to bother with ear do this year, to expensive + lots of unnecessary work to get them off I am getting where I don't want any outside flattery from people who care nothing about you just a tad + don't cut much ice: after you know the whole business. I don't know how our Worcester cousins feel about things I have an idea
