Dear Doris,
The thermometer went down to 19 degrees above 0. This morning when we first got up but during the day it warmed up + now its 40 degrees jus before the sun has reached it. I guess it will remain cool during the night.

This fore noon Harold's wife came up to talk once about Lena + I told her that she had not decided + I did not think Lena had any idea what she was going to do. She talks about going to Florida + how cold she feels in winter time + it would take a warmer house than any ordinary family would want to maintain to keep her comfortable. She said she was looking for her to come out to see the place. yesterday. as she sent her second letter the first of the week. Sought to write her but have my hands full just now so neglect writing.
