Dear Doris
The cold wave has gone & it is chilly but not freezing. I have just finished my sewing the last apron is done & I will do them up & send them in the morning. I suppose you would like them so to send them off early.
The sunset looks pretty red as it goes back down of C Welches. I am afraid tomorrow it will storm again.
My chicken will do now to cut up & fricassee & then it will hang on the rest of the week. I dont mind if it does its good healthy eating & easy to get. Pa gets tired of things in a little while.
I got Sidneys post card & called Campbell right up & he said he got the check, but hadn't sent a receipt but he would right away. you will probably get it before now. I told him to send it to you.
